Post Doc Opportunity at the Institute of Engineering Seismology, Greece
Joint Inversion of Radio Magnetotelluric data and Dispersion Data from Surface Wave methods (MASW, Ambient Noise Array).
The last few years we have acquired RadioMagnetotelluric and Surface Wave Data in a number of sites in order to better reveal the physical properties of the shallow structure for Engineering purposes. We are looking for a Researcher that would like to work on Joint Inversion of these data through a co-operation with our Institute and IFM-GEOMAR, in Germany. The candidate should have experience with analysis of either MT or Surface Waves data. Also, experience with inversion and even better joint inversion along with programming experience, preferably in C++, is desirable.
